RAP Innovation and Development is a company established to conduct Research and Development for industry.  Dr Randolph Pax has a background in Physics, Mathematics and Materials BSc(hons) and a PhD together with extensive experience (30+ years) in Industrial R&D and engineering places the company in a good position to solve problems in instrumentation, control, real time analysis and materials (including minerals).

 

He has undertaken research and development projects in a number of diverse industries including Steel, Sugar and aerospace and in the last 16 years in the mineral processing sector where he has led major projects including acoustic measurement of grinding mills, mineralogy, rock breakage as well as magnetic and electrostatic separation.  Applications have been in Heavy Minerals, base and precious minerals as well as industrial minerals.
